How DBD::AnyData helped pairNIC grow
Initially, we had a single database server.
We saw a future bottleneck.
We wrote 17 lines of code.
Then we didn't need to rush to find the long-term solution.

Once we identified that our single server was not going to cut it any more, we needed to find an alternative. The replication options that we examined at the time all had issues we wanted to avoid.
By writing a very little bit of time, we were able to buy ourselves several years of time in order to come up with a solution that we liked much better than the options that were initially available.
